In alignment with the government’s 2050 net-zero goal, StemCyte completed a group-wide greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory in 2023 and has voluntarily undertaken proactive decarbonization measures, setting ambitious emissions-reduction targets. Going forward, we will continue to advance initiatives—such as energy-efficient equipment upgrades and renewable-energy projects—to achieve carbon neutrality and drive long-term corporate sustainability.
Greenhouse Gas Emissions Over the Past Two Years
In 2023 and 2024, total greenhouse gas emissions for StemCyte USA were 1,128 and 1,180 metric tons CO2e per year, respectively; for StemCyte Taiwan, they were 316 and 350 metric tons CO2e per year. The Company actively addresses energy conservation, decarbonization, and greenhouse gas reduction, and uses energy efficiently to achieve these objectives.
