In addition to strictly complying with all regulatory requirements, our environmental management system continuously monitors and evaluates the environmental impact of our operations. We implement policies on water conservation, energy efficiency, waste reduction, and resource recycling. These policies are reviewed and updated regularly in response to industry trends and environmental changes, with the goal of advancing sustainability.
Waste Volumes in the Past Two Years
In 2023 and 2024, the total volume of biomedical waste generated by StemCyte U.S. was 4,933 lbs and 5,778 lbs, respectively.
In Taiwan, the total volume of medical waste was 2,047 kg and 2,373 kg for the same period.
All biomedical waste is properly handled by licensed waste disposal contractors to minimize environmental impact.
Water Consumption in the Past Two Years
In 2023 and 2024, StemCyte U.S. consumed 5,705 metric tons and 5,072 metric tons of water, respectively.
In Taiwan, water consumption totaled 957 metric tons and 1,028 metric tons.
The company continues to pursue water-saving efforts in order to reduce its impact on the environment.
