Green Energy Investment
Renewable Energy Investments.
The Company is committed to promoting energy conservation, electricity savings, and renewable-energy investments; specific implementation measures include:
Purchase energy-efficient equipment:
- Procure Grade-1 energy-efficient appliances—including inverter refrigerators, air conditioners, dehumidifiers, and drinking water dispensers—to reduce day-to-day operational energy use.
- Install LED energy-saving lighting and prioritize natural daylight during well-lit hours to replace artificial lighting; cultivate a switch-off habit to reduce unnecessary use.
- Use heat-insulating roller shades to reduce indoor heat gain and lower air-conditioning loads.
In 2025, the Company invested NT$135,835 in energy-efficiency equipment upgrades. Based on equipment ratings and expected usage, the total benefit is estimated to save approximately 1,395–3,895 kWh per year, equivalent to a reduction of about 0.69–1.93 metric tons CO₂e per year, contributing positively to the Company’s operational energy use and carbon-emissions management.
Meeting rooms and events:
Promote environmental sustainability by encouraging participants to bring their own water bottles, reusable utensils, and reusable bags to reduce waste generated by meetings and events.
Adjust common-area air-conditioning systems:
Review air-conditioning use in common areas and corridor open spaces to reduce the cooled footprint and lower cooling loads.
Switch off the central A/C system in common areas to save electricity; set individual office temperatures to around 26°C and use circulation fans.
Energy-saving smart scheduling for water dispensers:
During non-working hours and based on floor-specific needs, water dispensers can be set to a sleep/energy-saving mode to reduce nighttime power consumption and lower electricity costs.
Through the above energy-saving measures and equipment, we expect to save approximately 8,300 kWh of electricity per year, translating to about NT$60,000 in electricity cost savings.
