Retirement Programs and Implementation Status.

  1. United States (StemCyte USA)
    StemCyte USA maintains an approved 401(k) retirement savings plan. Employees may elect to contribute a percentage of their salary on a pre-tax or after-tax (Roth) basis to their individual retirement accounts. StemCyte USA does not make employer matching contributions to employees’ 401(k) accounts.

  2. Taiwan (StemCyte Taiwan)
    For employees covered by the Labor Pension Act (new scheme), StemCyte Taiwan operates a defined-contribution plan and contributes 6% of monthly wages to each employee’s individual labor pension account. For employees covered by the Labor Standards Act (old scheme), StemCyte Taiwan makes monthly contributions to a dedicated Labor Pension Reserve Fund account with the Bank of Taiwan, which is earmarked for this purpose.

Other jurisdictions
For subsidiaries outside the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the United States, contributions are made in accordance with applicable local laws and regulations.
